Description

The Protector Helmet has been newly reimagined for stronger performance and a consistent look with the rest of our armor. For a full coverage loadout, add this piece of armor to your setup.

This helmet provides multi-hit protection against all handgun threats and is tested in accordance with NIJ 0106.01 standards with .44 magnum rounds.* It is principally made of an integrated formation of aramid fiber, placed under high heat and pressure. This material is popular for lightweight armor for its high strength and is especially resilient in extreme temperatures.

The outer surface of the helmet shell is coated in a matte finish with a walnut powder texture, while the helmet edge is covered by low-friction rubber. It features a boltless retention system. Full head, ears, and back of neck protection.

Unlike the old Protector design, this version comes in the classic PASGT shape with a lip on the front edge. For user comfort, the helmet also comes with an adjustable suspension system.

*The tests were conducted with .44 mag (an NIJ 0101.06 IIIA threat) but otherwise followed the procedure of the NIJ 0106.01 (shot placement, BFD methods, etc.).

Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
