Our classically designed MX266 Split Front Chest Rig is a lightweight two-piece chest rig that includes its own padded carrying system.    

New material, same familiar & proven Lindnerhof chest rig functionalities  

As was true of earlier models the new MX266 Split Front Chest Rig features laser-cut slots (total 2x 8 slots per side) that give it full MOLLE/PALS compatibility. But unlike those that came before, the MX266 is 100% constructed with our new multiaxial laminate which makes it much lighter in weight compared to its predecessors (versions using CORDURA® fabric, for example).   

Keep your gear in reach—even when you go prone 

There will always be times when you need to lay flat on the ground while fully kitted out with your gear. That‘s why we put a split-option zipper right in the middle of the MX266. Not only does this make the chest rig easier and more comfortable to use, it also eliminates the need to completely remove the rig while you’re in the prone position if you need to quickly retrieve ammo, radio equipment, and whatever else you be packing. Just undo the zipper and the additional security buckle, then position your chest rig flaps at your side for unhindered access.   

One carrying system fits all  

Included with the MX266 Split Front Chest Rig is a new carrying system. Well-padded and featuring MOLLE/PALS slots (for attaching gear) and loops (for cable and hydration tube guides), it can be attached to all other Lindnerhof chest rig models. This carrying system also lets you set up a micro rig—simply attach it to our MX Panels (MX234, MX231) and you’re good to go.  

Get our RMPL144 adapter set (sold separately) if you’d rather attach the MX266 Split Front Chest Rig directly to your plate carrier. You’ll appreciate that we’ve placed inside the MX266 a number of adaptation points to permit securely affixing it to the Velcro® surfaces found on the front of your Lindnerhof carrier.
