The LT042/2 Plate Carrier is a modern multifunctional plate carrier constructed of CORDURA® Advanced Fabric plus webbing—a proven combination of materials.

The LT042/2 Plate Carrier is a second-generation version of model LT042. Like its predecessor, the LT042/2 is based on a well-conceived design and is made with a smart mix of proven materials that now include our new multiaxial laminate MX in the shoulder and waist straps, the webbing in the front and back of the carrier has been slimmed down from 25mm to 20mm to permit less weight zero loss of stability. And as with the LT042, all MOLLE/PALS-compatible pouches can be attached. 

Light or heavy loadout, LT042/2 supports your decision

Zippers on the LT042/2’s back panel let you rapidly, easily, and silently attach Lindnerhof modular zip panels—even attach a Lindnerhof backpack if you’d like. The zippers are compatible with the most widely used systems from other manufacturers (such as Crye). And a large Velcro® fastener pad at the front of the carrier allows modular panels and chest rigs to be stably attached. Meanwhile, Velcro® fasteners inside the carrier let you add extra pockets and pads, including Lindnerhof‘s inner padding (kite shape or LT250), Velcro® side pockets (HL175, MX634), and Velcro® bottom pockets (MX174, LT104). 

Put it all together and the LT042/2 adds up to a smart solution for stowing equipment whether you choose to go light or need a heavier loadout, want to carry breacher tools, or bring along more extras to support your mission. 

Cable management—concealed and individual

Three back-to-back cable attachments are included on the LT042/2‘s front panel. Use these to attach cables or a hydration tube. Longer cables can also be installed directly through the plate compartment via three user-cuttable seams at the sides and top of the plate compartment (for example, cutting one of the seams at its midpoint would permit concealment of the radio cable running from a waist-mounted transceiver up to its headset). 

On-and-off in the blink of an eye

Our patented hook buckle is a classic quick-release system, but it’s also designed to close fast, easy, silently, and in multiple directions, as needed.

The LT042/2 comes with our extra-slim 25mm shoulder-strap hook buckles. Their size minimizes potential interference with your weapon system—but are as secure and steady as conventional hook buckles. 

Multiple sizes of plates fit one compartment

The LT042 plate compartment is sized for a SAPI L plate. But thanks to its integrated plate-holding strap, you can also affix smaller plates (SAPI M or NATO standard 25x30cm).
